One of the more fascinating things to happen to me was to discover that
people enjoyed hearing me tell stories. Now this would NOT include my
family, as they are unreasonably tired of hearing how many times I was
eaten by bears by the 47th or 48th time they heard it!
But you know, stories are how our world is passed down to the next world,
and storytellers are storytellers, whether they use written words, film,
television, radio or recordings, like the ones we've done. Recording is new
to me, and I am still fascinated by watching producer Tony Eli work his
magic with a computer and a bunch of squiggly lines on a screen.
But the result is really fun, too, because this is personal. This is about as
close as you and I can get to sitting around a campfire on magic nights in
Alaska or New Mexico and sharing special times in our lives with each
other. Pass that coffee pot over here will you? Let's have some fun!
